Madhav Institute of Technology & Science ,Gwalior was estabished in the year 1957.Now within less than five decades the institute is academically Autonomous and all its entire undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are acreditated by NBA ,AICTE,New Delhi. The establishment of Training and Placement Cell at the institute was with the view to encourage the student to devlop their skill for achieving greater success in various fields .The Training and Placement Cell of the institute is a forum for industry -institute interaction and with Eminent Personalities from the industry and other institute of the country .Besides this ,a number of workshops on personality developments are arranged for the overall development of the students .The Training and Placement Cell also arranges various Technical symposia like hardware and software application ,Technical paper presentation on the emerging fields with a view to bring out the technical expertise within the student . The Institute has signed number of MOU`s with the industrial houses and institute of the country in order to facilitate the training of the student.These training activities help the student to keep pace with the changing technological development of the world. The Training and Placement Cell works for the whole year interacting with the human resourses department of the various esteemed organization so as to provide them logistical support for the campus recruitment as per their needs .To coordinate the activities of the Placement cell, a Placement committee comprising of faculty and student of various disciplines is in place .rical Engineering was started in 1995.

The B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering & Chemical Engineering were offered first in 1994 and 1995 respectively and the discipline of Information Technology was started in 2000. Post graduate course in Production Technology in Mechanical Engineering department and in Microwave in Electronics & CSE department are the latest additions. The Institute also offers Ph.D. programmes in various disciplines of Engineering and Science.
