For engineering courses, 90% seats are filled through PET counseling conducted by VYPAM (www.vyapam.nic.in) and DTE Bhopal (www.mptechedu.org), for MP domicile only. 5% seats are reserved for NRI. Remaining 5% seats are for all India quota, that are filled through PET. Reservations are as per MP Government norms. The eligibility criteria are as per the norms decided by DTE Bhopal (www.mptechedu.org).

For admission in B.Arch., National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) (www.nata.in) conducts examination. Merit is prepared according to 50% weightage to NATA marks and 50% to marks obtained in 12^th. Refer the site www.rgpv.ac.in
